We have free parking tags for off campus customers’ private vehicles when renting a Fleet Services vehicle. Please inform us that you do not have a VT parking permit.

New Hybrids Are Here!
Fleet Services is continuing their "Green Fleet" efforts at the start of this new year by replacing older models with five new Honda Insights for the rental fleet. These new cars are in addition to the Ford Hybrid Escapes and the Hybrid Chevy Malibu that were acquired over the last four years. The Honda Insight is expected to get an average of 40-43 mpg.

Fleet Services customers wishing to reserve a vehicle will be using Fleet Commander which provides new customer benefits such as:
- Elimination of the approval form (i.e. customers no longer need to bring in paperwork)
- 24 hour reservation service
- Automatic email approvals, confirmations, & requests
- Ability to view any requests after January 5, 2009
- View previous, current, and future requests through "My Schedule."
ALL drivers and requestors need to create a new user profile with Fleet Commander.
Fleet Commander can be found at www.fs.vt.edu/fleetcommander. Please visit this site and click "Sign Up Now!" on the left side of the screen to set up your user profile using your Virginia Tech PID and Hokie Spa password.
Please visit the “Welcome Page” monthly for important Fleet Commander updates. It is important to view these policies in order to know your responsibilities as a driver. More information can also be found in the FAQ section.
